Clinical Point of Care Resources

There are multiple point-of-care tools accessible to students in the health sciences at Penn. The library supplies Dynamed, ClinicalKey, AccessMedicine and AccessAnesthesiology. Dynamed is a true evidence-based product that applies a 3-tier grading system to its clinical overviews. It has a bulleted format so that answers can be found quickly and easily. ClinicalKey, primarily a source for ebooks and ejournals, also has a similar clinical overview section created and vetted by experienced physicians. AccessMedicine and AccessAnesthesiology are primarily used for their core book material but can also be searched at the bedside for quick answers. All of these resources have apps that can be downloaded to your device, making accessing needed information a seamless process.
