Collection Overview

The collection of graphic novels from German-speaking countries constitutes part of the German Languages and Literatures collection that has grown considerably in the last two decades. It now consists of several hundred volumes. This part of the German collections is of interest to language learners and students who want to improve their German reading skills and knowledge of German cultural and historical references. The novels themselves represent a range of themes and genres including historical fiction, literary adaptations, fantasy, environmental and social commentary, and modern wit and humor.
