An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak curators and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of one of our curators. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Field trip time! On September 10, we'll be visiting Swarthmore College to take a look at their late 13th century Bible. Curator Dot Porter will be joined by Schoenberg Curator of Manuscripts Nick Herman and Amy McColl, Associate Director for Collection Management & Discovery at Swarthmore. The manuscript is a small, Paris-style Bible, and includes several historiated initials, illuminated initials in designs of dragons and foliate patterns, and large red and blue puzzle initials.

Note that the Zoom links for Coffee With a Codex are reusable - register once and attend every Thursday at 12pm EST / 5pm GMT.
