Comics at Kislak: A Conversation with Collector & Donor Gary Prebula and Kislak Director Sean Quimby

In 2024, Penn alumnus Gary Prebula donated more than 75,000 comic books to his alma mater, augmenting a growing collection that supports research and teaching. The Prebula gift is a major source of content for The Black Hero’s Journey exhibition. Join exhibition co-curator Sean Quimby for a conversation with Prebula about why comics matter and how collecting them has influenced his life.
