A collaboration between the Albrecht Music Library and the Department of Music, Music in the Stacks brings Penn musicians into library spaces for drop-in, public performances throughout the semester.

Join us for an afternoon with the renowned Penn Glee Club in the Penn Museum Library. We will see performances from subgroups Penn Pipers and the Penn Sirens. The entrance to the library is located between the upper galleries and the 3rd level of the Academic Wing.
About the Penn Pipers
The Penn Pipers, founded in 1950, are the oldest a cappella group at the University of Pennsylvania. A subset of the Penn Glee Club, they cover a wide range of music, from doo-wop, barbershop and vocal jazz, to contemporary and pop songs.
About the Penn Sirens
The Penn Sirens, founded in 2011 as a separate singing group, are the premier SSAA vocal ensemble at the University of Pennsylvania. A subset of the Penn Glee Club, they perform a vast array of engaging and diverse music, from traditional choral, jazz, and Broadway to contemporary pop and rock.
