Scan and Print 3D Objects

3D print or scan objects for an academic project—or just for fun! When you submit your scanning or printing request, staff will review your project to make sure it will scan or print correctly and will work with you to choose file format and material options that best suit your needs. During your scanning session, you will also get hands-on experience using our scanners.

All 3D printing and scanning services are offered at no additional cost to the Penn community.

3D Printing and Scanning Guides

Students, faculty, and staff can make 3D scans at the Fisher Fine Arts Library. 3D printing is available at the Bollinger Digital Fabrication Lab (for academic, clinical, and research projects), and the the Education Commons (for personal, non-academic projects).
