Dexter is a first-year master's student in the SCMP (Scientific Computing) program at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He has interests in neuroscience, computation, machine learning, behavior, psychology, and mental health with prior academic experience in quantitative methodologies, having learned data collection and data analysis techniques in various labs that focus on neural and behavioral science. Previously, he worked in animal behavior labs studying bird and mouse vocalizations and creating signal-processing pipelines in Python. He plans to continue his graduate studies and eventually apply his expertise in either an academic or corporate setting in the future.
